pct after blood shed by xcel

New Exercise and Fitness Review

pct after blood shed by xcel

sup guys. new 17 year old powerlifter here. I’ve been tempted to take a prohormone for at least a year and finally grew the balls to pull the trigger on it. pretty much just doing it to catch up. all of my friends and guys I lift with have taken them and I’m the only one who hasn’t. I got my hands on Blood shed by xcel right before the ban and plan on starting next week. for those of you that don’t know, thats a stack that contains trenavar, m sten, and mechabol. I have a bottle of blockade and pct is on its way. I like to think I know a fairly well amount when it comes to prohormones but I’ve never really heard anything on trenavar and that’s what’s scaring me. I started researching and it’s showing I need to take clomid after coming off? what the hell is clomid? looking for somebody who has taken trenavar or ideally blood shed itself to tell me what I need to take with cycle support and with pct. like I said this is my first cycle and more than likely my last. just doing it to catch up.

How to Measure Your Testosterone Level (Blood Work and TRT)

New Exercise and Fitness Review

How to Measure Your Testosterone Level (Blood Work and TRT)
February 28, 2014 By Danger & Play

Finding out your testosterone level isn’t some mystery. It’s pretty simply, really, and involves an inexpensive blood test that can be done in most any city. Here is how to measure your testosterone level.

[Disclaimer: This is not medical advice. These are my thoughts and opinions based on my own research and education. Always consult with a physician to discuss your testosterone level.]

Step 1. Go to Private MD Labs by clicking this link. Use Coupon Code HEALTHY12 to save 12%.

Private MD Labs allows you to order your own blood test to measure your testosterone level. You don’t need a doctor’s letter or permission. This allows you to understand and learn about your own health. The tests are not covered by insurance. I pay for mine using my Healthcare Savings Account.

You then find a local lab from their list (this is all covered during the checkout process) and go in to get your blood drawn.

I recommend the Female Hormone Panel (this one) for guys on a budget. The Female Hormone Panel will give you your total testosterone level but not your free testosterone level. (Some say you need to know both your free and total testosterone levels. Based on my experience, that is not true. If your total testosterone levels are low, then you have low T. If your total T is high, then your free testosterone levels are fine. Others disagree and that’s cool.)

Female Hormone Testing Panel (available here) contains the following tests:

  • Estradiol, Serum

  • Luteinizing Hormone (LH)

  • Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH)

  • Testosterone, Serum

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

  • Comprehensive Metabolic Profile

Don’t worry if that seems overwhelming. We are going to discuss all of those tests using actual lab work. (Scroll down to the bottom of the page for a video.)

If you want to know your free testosterone level, then you’ll need to order a more expensive lab test. The Hormone Panel for Males test gives you your free and total testosterone level as well as your HDL and LDL cholesterol levels, lipid levels, and more.

Hormone Panel for Males (available here) contains the following tests:

  • Lipid Profile

  • Complete Blood Count w/ Differential

  • Estradiol, Sensitive

  • Insulin Growth Factor (IGF-1)

  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel

  • Testosterone (Free) , Serum (Equilibrium Ultrafiltration) With Total Testosterone

  • Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)

  • Thyroid Profile

If you have a little bit more cash, then the Male Anti-Aging Panel is a great one. The Male Anti-Aging Panel is overkill for men under 30 and maybe even overkill for men under 40. Because my health is important to me, I spend the extra cash for this test even though I am under 40.

I personally get the Male Anti-Aging Panel done once each year as part of my overall check-up. I get the Female Hormone Panel done twice each year to monitor my testosterone and estrogen levels.

The Male Anti-Aging Panel (available here) contains the following tests:

  • Lipid Profile

  • Complete Blood Count w/ Differential

  • Estradiol, Sensitive

  • Insulin Growth Factor (IGF-1)

  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel

  • Testosterone, Free (Direct), Serum With Total Testosterone

  • Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)

  • Thyroid Profile

  • Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) Sulfate

  • Thyroxine (T4) Free, Direct

  • Tri-iodothyronine (T3), Free, Serum

Step 2. Wait 48 to 72 hours to get your blood test results.

I’ve had my blood tests back the next day. Sometimes it takes up to 3 days. If you get your labs done on a Friday, you might not get your results back until Wednesday or Thursday.

It’s great because once your labs are done, you get an email with a PDF of those results. No more blindly following your doctor who says, “Your labs are fine.”

This puts you in the driver’s seat of your own health.

Step 3. Analyze those results.

Check out this video to see how I analyze blood work. This is not medical advice. This is just what I personally think about the lab work.

Blood Flow Restriction Training

New Exercise and Fitness Review

Are any of you guys doing this yet? I’ve been working with it for about 2wks now doing calves, quads, bi’s and tri’s twice a week at the end of my workouts for those muscle groups. I feel like I’m noticing a perma-pump in my arms 24-7 now. No noticeable difference on the legs yet that I can see, but it’s been 2wks, nothing much is to be expected realistically. The pain from the blood flow restriction sets is unreal! If you’re someone who likes to see just how far you can push yourself, this is for you lol.

If you’re not up to date on the latest and greatest, here are a few articles you can read to see if it might be something you want to try.

Human Growth Hormone - hGH isoform differential immunoassays applied to blood samples

New Exercise and Fitness Review

Human Growth Hormone – hGH isoform differential immunoassays applied to blood samples

Related Articles hGH isoform differential immunoassays applied to blood samples from athletes: Decision limits for anti-doping testing.

Growth Horm IGF Res. 2014 Jun 11;

Authors: Hanley JA, Saarela O, Stephens DA, Thalabard JC

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To detect hGH doping in sport, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)-accredited laboratories use the ratio of the concentrations of recombinant hGH (‘rec’) versus other ‘natural’ pituitary-derived isoforms of hGH (‘pit’), measured with two different kits developed specifically to detect the administration of exogenous hGH. The current joint compliance decision limits (DLs) for ratios derived from these kits, designed so that they would both be exceeded in fewer than 1 in 10,000 samples from non-doping athletes, are based on data accrued in anti-doping labs up to March 2010, and later confirmed with data up to February-March 2011. In April 2013, WADA asked the authors to analyze the now much larger set of ratios collected in routine hGH testing of athletes, and to document in the peer-reviewed literature a statistical procedure for establishing DLs, so that it be re-applied as more data become available.
DESIGN: We examined the variation in the rec/pit ratios obtained for 21,943 screened blood (serum) samples submitted to the WADA accredited laboratories over the period 2009-2013. To fit the relevant sex- and kit-specific centiles of the logs of the ratios, we classified ‘rec/pit’ ratios based on low ‘rec’ and ‘pit’ values as ‘negative’ and fitted statistical distributions to the remaining log-ratios. The flexible data-driven quantile regression approach allowed us to deal with the fact that the location, scale and shape of the distribution of the modeled ‘rec/pit’ ratios varied with the concentrations of the ‘rec’ and ‘pit’ values. The between-kit correlation of the ratios was included in the fitting of the DLs, and bootstrap samples were used to quantify the estimation error in these limits. We examined the performance of these limits by applying them to the data obtained from investigator-initiated hGH administration studies, and in athletes in a simulated cycling stage race.
RESULTS: The mean and spread of the distribution of the modeled log-ratios depended in different ways on the magnitude of the rec and pit concentrations. Ultimately, however, the estimated limits were almost invariant to the concentrations, and similar to those obtained by fitting simpler (marginal) log-normal and Box-Cox transformed distributions. The estimated limits were similar to the (currently-used) limits fitted to the smaller datasets analyzed previously. In investigator-initiated instances, the limits distinguished recent use of rec-hGH from non-use.
CONCLUSIONS: The distributions of the rec/pit ratios varied as a function of the rec and pit concentrations, but the patterns in their medians and spreads largely canceled each other. Thus, ultimately, the kit- and sex-specific ratio DL obtained from the simpler model was very close to the ‘curve of DLs’ obtained from the more complex one. Both were close to previously established limits.
