Healing yoga

New Exercise and Fitness Review

We all know yoga makes us feel great, but did you know it has proven physical and emotional benefits, too? This weekend, an international conference organised by the Minded Institute is showcasing research-based evidence on the multi-faceted benefits of yoga for managing pain, stress and depression, as well as for helping people living with diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

Yoga and Health: Research and Practice is taking pace at the Brunei Gallery, SOAS, in central London, and will include workshops, panel-led discussions and lunchtime yoga sessions. There’s impressive panel of speakers, and we can’t wait to hear what they have to say.

Keynote speakers include:

Goran Boll, founder of The MediYoga Institute in Stockholm, Sweden

Pil Holger Cramer, PhD, yoga research director at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany

Heather Mason, MA, founder of the Minded Institute
