A match against cancer

New Exercise and Fitness Review

It’s a chance to see two all-female celeb teams fight it out on the court, including girl band Neon Jungle, DJ Gemma Cairney and Made in Chelsea star Fran Newman-Young.

The charity match will raise funds for further research into the nation’s biggest killer as well as promoting positive women’s health. In doing so Cancer Research UK has come together with Sky Sports, England Netball and Freya Active, one of our fave sports bra brands.

In preparation for the big day some celebrity players are taking up Back to Netball classes, the award-winning scheme encouraging women to get back to the sport they once loved. Since launching in 2010 they’ve managed to bring a whopping 50,000 females back to sport!

Hosting the event on 17 December will be I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here presenter Laura Whitmore. The match at the Olympic Village, Copper Box Arena will be getting started at 6pm, just before the International Netball Series on Sky Sports. A crowd of 6,000 are expected, with proceeds from the tickets going towards the life-saving work of Cancer Research.

England Netball’s Commercial Director, Jo Adams, says: ‘We’re delighted to be staging this match – not only is it a great way to show our continued support for our chosen charity, it’s also a fantastic way to profile the positive impact that sport can have on the lives of everyone – even busy celebrities!

‘We’ve worked in partnership with Cancer Research UK since 2010, raising almost £2 million to fund life-saving research. But for us it doesn’t stop there. It’s just as important that we are encouraging people to make healthy lifestyle choices and become more aware of the ways they can reduce their risk of developing cancer.’

If you fancy seeing the match live you can buy tickets from tickets.sky.com . Otherwise you can catch up on highlights from the match on Sky Sports.

Don’t believe the hype – 10 persistent cancer myths debunked

New Exercise and Fitness Review

This world makes no sense. There is stuff like this out there which works, but you could be one of the lot of people who never know about it because oncologists don’t know about it, and the fda nor their schools won’t tell them about it.
So the people who trust the system in some instances and work hard are the “fools”. Yeah…..that makes alot of sense.
So your child has cancer and passes or has something unnessesarily removed because nearly no insurance approved doctor knows this information.
That’s fucking retarted.

It’s like religion, if its fake and the people that follow it are looked at as a blind joke, it’s fucking retarted to even play such a joke as the hard working effort of the followers goes to waste. I personally dont believe it is because its clear those principles lead to a better life for all, however there are many that look at them as fools.

That’s fucking stupid.

Half assed and stupid.

Like the fda banning lovastatin in red yeast rice stupid.

Everything being consolidated it doesn’t make sense to hold everything back anymore. It’s no longer resourse vs resourse.
